Mazatlán Excursions

The cruise lines making port in Mazatlán offer tours, excursions and adventures for almost all interests. The most popular tours are the walking tours of Old Mazatlán and excursions to the historic Sierra Madre towns of Concordia and Copala.

Your ship will dock at the commercial port, and you will be taken to the adjacent Cruise Terminal via tram. All of the day's excursions will depart from the Cruise Terminal.

Deer Island Kayak Tour	5 hours	Look closely at the label of a Pacifico Beer, and you will see Deer Island surrounded by a lifesaver. After taking this tour, not only can you say you've been there, but you can boast that you had a great time kayaking in the calm waters, and enjoyed lounging on the beach and hiking a trail for some great views of Mazatlán.
Mazatlán Jet Boat Adventure	1½ hours	Get your adrenaline up and your mojo working again as you take 360° spins and speed through the waters around Mazatlán on a jet-powered boat. After your first ride, you'll want another!

Pre Hispanic El Quelite	5 hours	More than likely you've never seen the Mesoamerican ball game of Ulama being played. Be the first one on your block to witness the game, played with hips and a large natural latex ball. And they throw in a tour of Quelite and a lunch at the El Meson de los Laureanos restaurant.
Sierra Madre Tour/ Sierra Madre, Concordia & Copala/ Sierra Madre Country Tour	7 to 7½ hours	Experience the lives and culture of rural Mexico on this interesting tour. Tequila, Saddles & Sandals/ Mexican Artists and Tequila Factory/ Tequila, Huaraches & Sombreros	6 to 6½ hours	This excursion takes you to rural Mazatlán, where you will visit a tequila distillery famous for its fine artisanal quality blue agave tequila. Then you will make your way to a tour of a saddle-making factory to learn how some of the best saddles in Mexico are crafted. A Mexican buffet lunch is included.
Mazatlán Countryside Tour	7 hours	Enjoy your day in Mazatlán visiting some unique spots in rural Sinaloa. You will visit the small town of La Noria to see a workshop that creates riding saddles and sandals, then make your way to the quaint village of El Quelite, known for its adobe houses with red tiled roofs covered with bougainvillea. After lunch in the village, you will return to Mazatlán via the Golden Zone, where you are given the option of being dropped off to do some shopping, or continuing back to your ship.

The Sights and Flavors of Mexico	4 hours	Explore Mazatlán's Old Town section, replete with art galleries, shops, museums and churches, on this guided walking tour. Then it's time to put on an apron as you begin your cooking class. You'll create a traditional Mexican dish, then kick back and partake of your masterpiece.
Shrimp Feast!	3½ to 4 hours	Mazatlán is renowned for its shrimp harvests. On this tour, you will be offered a buffet-style meal of unlimited shrimp, along with chips, salsa and guacamole, and an open bar. That would be nice in and of itself, but the location of your feast is an experience to be savored.
